I'm Seeking a Literary Agent

Hello,
How is everyone doing? I'm writing from the literary trenches. I finally finished my novel, The Rose of the Lighthouse with much excitement. I've been documenting my journey on Substack and preparing a YouTube video of this process as I am sending queries to literary agents on Query Tracker to help me find someone who understands my vision.
I hope to see this as an opportunity that will help me understand the process as a novelist. Someone who is sharing their debut book and really learning about the process head on. This is a new chapter in my life as I seek to finalize this chapter and start writing my next novel.
I have to admit, I'm kind of nervous. I feel lots of anxiety and expectations as I pray to God that I will see this literary trench through. I like to sit back and wait as I process this experience as something fun and worthy of anticipitation rather than a mere moment of dissapointment after each rejection.
I know that many authors have seen rejection after rejection as they enter into the literary trenches. I have already seen 4 after just starting this week. After reading up on other author's experience on substack, I realize they pitch to at least 50 literary agents and maybe even 100 before they get a positive response.
Thankfully, I have recieved one proposal from a friend of the family, who is a PhD professor, and who has previously published an article of mine in his anthology. I hope to see my books in La Casa Noberto one day as I set my sites not only as a regionally published author in Puerto Rico like the worthy la Gaviota from Puerto Rico. But to also see myself as an international bestseller proud of her work as something to achieve after spending nearly a year and a half writing this novel, the Rose of the Lighthouse.
A friend of mine who works with the Artnette House has proposed publication to me too. Her understanding is a little vague to the publishing process, but I am thankful for her outreach.
So, I sit and wait. Greateful. Expectant. Dilligent. Hopefully, someone who matches my vision can see what Rose of the Lighthouse is all about. A romance with a twist of suspense and an unexpectant ending that will suprise both the readers and the characters.
With that said, I have pulled out of self publication because I have finally realized that publishing is hard work and I need someone who understands the ins and outs of what happens behind closed doors-- in the backstage of the publishing process that I could never do on my own.
So with that I sign,
with gratitude.
Sincerely, Rose of Sharon
