My Books
Here is a collection of books I've written within the past few years. They include memoirs of life lessons I've learned until I turned 30 years old and my healing journey as I deal with PTSD. I also include novels to the Romance Series I am in the works of writing entitled Rose of the Lighthouse. Book 3 is coming soon, so look out for that.

Here is a tale of a girl who loved and lost and yet found the courage to love again. After her mother disappeared in a car accident, Rose lived in the fear of uncertainty for many years affecting the love she had for Marvin as the darkness of unanswered questions loomed over her, he chose to settle his own heart elsewhere leaving Rose feeling abandoned.
She lived silently on Hope Harbor Island in the care of her father, Henry, who looked after the Pure Pointe Lighthouse under the lease of Caleb's father who owned the property.
Being well acquainted with Caleb's parents, Rose and Caleb didn't really know eachother until he came back home from war where he too fought with the demons that plagued his mind's eye as he recalled trauma in war with PTSD.
Yet, he found consolation in Rose's hospitality the fateful night that the storm nearly shipwrecked him onto the edge of the Pure Pointe Lighthouse. Yet the gentle light in Rose's heart encouraged his own yearning to kindle a new love that would lead them past waves of uncertainty that would force Rose to trust yet again despite the envious naysayers who spited her for her aging singleness leaving her to choose love despite herself and what the rest of the world has to say.

Book 2: Rose's Response
Memoirs of a Rose of Sharon are a collection of stories lived in that talk about my healing journey and 30 life lessons I learned before turning 30 years old. I share my healing journey in one book as I talk about the seven stages of grief and healing with trauma, loss, and PTSD. I use my own story as an anchor to talk about how God used all of my unanswered questions to lead me to a point of closure that only He could give me through Jesus.
Yet, as a young woman, I still haven't lived all of my youth and I don't have all the answers to life's questions. I feel that I still have life lessons to learn as "I go over the hill," so to speak and yet reach other milestones in my life that will lead me to the crown of gray hairs that would make me into a wise woman of God to hopefully look back on and instruct my children and grandchildren with with the words I couldn't find to say on my own throughout the years. I write them here for you to heal with me.
